Marilyn Kitt concentrates in bad faith insurance disputes and denials. She is an advocate for people who have had a loss that should be covered by their insurance, but their insurance carrier is denying, low paying, or underserving, their claim in breach of the insurance policy and in bad faith.
Prior to becoming a part of Copper Canyon Law, Marilyn worked in several different practice areas in California as a sole practitioner. These areas included estate law, landlord tenant law, family law, elder law, personal injury/medical malpractice, as well as quality and compliance in health insurance.
Marilyn graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, with her Juris Doctorate in 2004. She practiced law in California since then, prior to recently relocating to Arizona. For the past several years, she has also performed as a Registered Nurse in staff, and management, in various settings from critical care to public health, prior to, and during, her law career.
Currently, in her spare time, Marilyn enjoys ATV riding and hiking in the desert trailheads of Maricopa County and spending time with her family.
